New Local Industry Network: Trade, Transport & Heavy Industry focus
Tumut, NSW – Business Snowy Valleys (BSV) has recently launched an Industry Network group focused on supporting trade, transport and heavy industry businesses within the local region. The BSV Industry Network is in direct response to feedback received from local heavy industry proponents, that Business Snowy Valleys could better reflect local heavy industry and trade. Business Snowy Valleys has listened and taken action, forming the Industry Network, partnering with key organisations like Snowy 2.0, ICN Gateway, Regional NSW & Business NSW.
The launch of the network in September saw a successful Snowy 2.0 supplier workshop take place in Tumut, delivered in partnership with Business Snowy Valleys. The next network event will be held on the 7th of November from 7:30am at the Riverside Cafe in Tumut with Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV) & the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). This will be an opportunity for local trade/transport businesses to hear about the RRJV procurement strategy and more about chain of responsibility requirements directly from the NHVR.
The Business Snowy Valleys Heavy Industry Network will continue to not only provide useful information to local businesses from major projects and relevant trade organisations, but also provide access to funding for training qualifications and free upskilling.
