Adventure Snowy Valleys

Adventure Snowy Valleys is a new website being developed by Business Snowy Valleys (formerly Tumut Region Chamber of Commerce) with funding from FRRR to further promote tourism in our region.  Specifically, the site aims to provide a single source of information on adventure activities and trails (linked to Strava) and promote businesses within proximity of those trails within the entire Snowy Valleys LGA.  

We are seeking input from community groups who regularly undertake trail-related activities e.g. hiking, walking, running, climbing, mountain biking, road cycling, motorbike riding, kayaking, horse riding etc. to help us build a consolidated database of local adventure sites and experiences.

You will be asked to provide:

• a description of the trail

• photos if available

• GPX file

This information will be loaded to Adventure Snowy Valleys website and users will be able to search by trail/adventure type and also by location - they are delivered results that include a link to the route(s) - that we will load into the Strava app. These results are also linked within the website to nearby services e.g. mountain bike repairs, cafes, information centres, accommodation, retail and more.

Your input will help make Adventure Snowy Valleys a great resource for years to come. Please fill in the form. Registration of trails is free. If approved, your organisation will also be listed for free on the website, which will be a great way to get new members.
